ALAZÆR HIEMS
Studio Head & Founder
Alazær Hiems is a storyteller passionate about crafting original, immersive worlds that blend epic fantasy, sci-fi, and grounded realism. Through Stormfall Studios, he draws from folklore, mythology, and original narratives to create experiences that resonate with audiences worldwide. Driven by a love for storytelling that sparks connection, he aims to empower all audiences to see themselves in every adventure. From forging intense character dynamics to exploring uncharted realms, he is dedicated to producing content that transports audiences to worlds and stories beyond their wildest imaginings.
Alazær has been writing stories, films, and games since he can remember. He was 10 year old when he created his first video game, and 13 when he finished his first serious short film at the New York Film Academy summer program.
He studied both film and game design at SCAD, and has been continuously writing, directing, and producing films and games for the past several years.
He has a passion for fantasy and sci-fi media, and is an avid reader. Some of his greatest inspiration as a kid came from series such as A Song of Ice and Fire and The Hobbit. He also enjoyed shows such as Star Trek, RPGs such as Skyrim, and tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons (for which he is a forever DM).
Alazær intends to share not only original works of fiction, but also stories inspired by different cultures’ folklore and mythology, as well as stories from around the world. He hopes to make works that remain with people long after viewing them, sparking connections between the audience and the characters.
He aims for his works to be accessible to global audiences, with well-directed language dubs and international releases.
His greatest ambition is to create works in films and games filled with dynamic and enticing characters and stories, with complex and unique worlds.
